PMX at Kulinarya Festival Portland: Wearing Culture, Sharing Stories
PMX was honored to be part of Kulinarya Festival 2026 in Portland, Oregon—a community celebration dedicated to Filipino food, culture, creativity, and connection.
Hosted by the Filipino American Association of Portland and Vicinity, Inc. (FAAPVI), the festival brought the community together on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the FAAPVI Event Center. The event celebrated Filipino Food Month and helped launch FAAPVI’s 2026 Filipino Cultural Immersion Program, featuring culinary classes, food and non-food vendors, and live music throughout the afternoon.
For PMX, Kulinarya was more than a vendor event. It was a reminder of why the brand exists—to create modern, wearable pieces that help people feel connected to culture, identity, and community.
Throughout the day, guests stopped by the PMX booth to explore pieces inspired by Filipino heritage and the broader AANHPI community. Some came to shop. Some came to share stories. Others recognized a design that reminded them of home, family, travel, or the culture they continue to carry with them.
That exchange of stories is at the heart of PMX.
As a Filipino-founded apparel brand, PMX believes that what we wear can hold meaning. A shirt, hoodie, or sweater can become more than an outfit—it can become a quiet statement of pride, belonging, and connection. At Kulinarya, that meaning came to life through conversations with kababayans, friends of the Filipino community, and guests who simply wanted to celebrate culture with openness and joy.
PMX extends its gratitude to FAAPVI, the event organizers, vendors, performers, volunteers, and everyone who made Kulinarya Festival possible. Events like this create space for Filipino culture to be seen, tasted, heard, and shared across generations.
To everyone who stopped by, supported PMX, purchased a piece, or shared a moment with us—maraming salamat.
